Council Member Eric Dinowitz
Council Member Eric Dinowitz was born and raised in the Northwest Bronx, and is raising his family in the district he grew up in. Eric is a community activist, former special education teacher and Chapter Leader for the United Federation of Teachers and former Aging Chair of Bronx Community Board 8.

Council Member Pierina Ana Sanchez
Councilmember Pierina Sanchez represents the 14th Council District, which includes the resilient neighborhoods of Kingsbridge, Fordham, University Heights, Mount Eden and Mount Hope. Pierina is an Afro-Dominicana, daughter of immigrants, and born and raised in the Bronx, where her family strove to make a life for her and her brothers. She learned the value of hard work early – watching her elders sell oranges, drive taxis, clean buildings and schools – to ensure she and her generation had a chance at higher education and opportunity.

Councilmember Oswald Feliz is a lifelong resident of the Bronx, who proudly represents the 15th Council District – which includes the neighborhoods of Fordham, Belmont, East Tremont, West Farms, Van Nest, and Allerton.

State Senator Gustavo Rivera
State Senator Gustavo Rivera was elected to represent the 33rd Senate District in The Bronx in November of 2010. The 33rd Senate District includes The Bronx neighborhoods of Fordham, Belmont, Riverdale, Kingsbridge Heights, Norwood, Bedford Park, Pelham Parkway, Van Nest, Morris Park, and parts of Allerton.

Assemblymember George Alvarez
Assemblymember George Alvarez was born in the Dominican Republic and is a descendant of Afro-Caribbean heritage. Despite a modest upbringing, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from one of the top-rated universities in the Dominican Republic, as well as a master’s degree in Logistics in Madrid, Spain. Additionally, he has a Harvard Certification in Cybersecurity and has technical certifications from premier software development companies.
